If concldences are any guide in international Rugby matches, France should win the final test with the All Blacks tomorrow.
When the French exercised their right to choose a member of a panel of four referees submitted to them by the New Zealand Rugby Union, they selected Mr J. P. Murphy, a Whangarei public accountant Mr Murphy, as it happens, has refereed each of the three game* which the All Blacks have lost at home in the last 10 years. This string of coincidences began with the British Lions in 1959, followed by the Wallabies in 1964 and the Springboks in 1965.
