PUBLIC NOTICES WARNING HURUNUI PEST DESTRUCTION BOARD USB OF 1080 POISON PURSUANT to Section 12 of the Deadly Poisons Regulations, Notice Is hereby given that the Board intends to spread 1080 poison with carrots by hand. (1) Polson to be Used: 1080 poison with carrots. (2) Area to be covered and date of operations: (1 ): Lady Holland property. This area includes all land on the Western side of the Main North Road for a distance of two miles from the Greta River picnic area. As baits are laid in close proximity to the picnic area and road all persons are strictly warned against handling carcasses or bait. Carcasses and bait are deadly to dogs and owners who allow dogs access to this area do so at their own risk. Date of operatons: Tuesday, July 16, 1968 onwards depending on weather. (11): All Hurunui riverbeds downstream from the Main West Coast Road traffic bridge to where the Paheu River joins the Hurunui River.
