Feats of endurance are not uncommon in sport, but it seems unlikely that the marathon performance of the University men’s basketball player, J. W. Grocott, on Saturday will be quickly forgotten. Grocott, who is at present chairman of the Canterbury Men’s Basketball Association, played in three games—one in D grade, one in C grade and one in B grade—and was on the team sheet for Old Maroons In the A grade.
