Parliament’s Diary
The economic review was presented when Parliament resumed yesterday afternoon. Other papers presented included the annual reports of the internal Affairs Department the Standards Council, and the Linen Flax Corporation. Ministers answered six questions. Second readings were given the Auckland Regional Authority Amendment Bill (No. 2), and the Dunedin City (Rates by Instalments) Empowering Bill. The second reading of the Parliamentary Commission (Ombudsman) Amendment Bill was debated. During the evening the Address-in-Reply debate proceeded.
