Rugby Tour Depends On Harvest Yield

(N.Z.P.A. Staff Correspondent) SYDNEY. The Rugby club of Yeoval, a small country town of 800 people In central western New South Wales, will tour New Zealand next year, and later Japan—lf the wheat crop is a good one. The club's ambitious plans depend on the wheat harvest next December. The club may reap .-bout $20,000 and would then go

ahead with its overseas tours. A wealthy landowner and Rugby supporter, Mr W. A. Strahorn, sparked off the idea when he made a gift of 150 acres of land to the club earlier this year. Members cleared it and planted wheat, and a working bee will be summoned for the harvest nt the end of the year. Meanwhile, members are boosting funds by buying and selling cattle.
