Mr J. M. Fielder han Often appointed Public Trustee by the State Services Commission. He is at present the Assistant Public Trustee. He will succeed Mr A. E. Kennard, who will retire in October.—(P.A.). Mr A. C. Begg was reelected unopposed as senior vice-president of Federated Farmers x at the annual conference in Wellington yesterday. Mr R. D. Woolerton (Waikato) and Mr F. J. Henshaw (South Canterbury) were made life members. Mr J. W. Johnston has been appointed branch manager of the Holm Shipping Company at Lyttelton, to succeed Mr R. E. Muxlow, who will retire next month.
