CONSTABLE CHARGED
Kept Money From Fines (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 9. A police constable wfap-whs employed in executing warrants to coUecf outstanding fines failed to pay $47 to the Justice Department, Inspector N. G. Howes said in the Magistrate's Court today. Hamutana Taane Tangla Pol, aged 21, pleaded guilty before Mr D. J. Sullivan, S.M., to three charges of fraudulently omitting to account for or pay to the Justice Department $l3 on June 13, $2l on June 6, and $l3 on June 14.
He was convicted on all three charges and remanded for a probation report and sentence.
