LATE HOTEL CLOSING
No Effect On Crime Rate (N.Z. Prejs Association) WELLINGTON, July 10. There had been no significant increase in offences reported to the police or arrests made since the introduction of extended drinking hours in November, the Minister in charge of Police (Mr Allen) said in Parliament today in reply to Mr J. F. Luxton (Nat, Piako).
