UNIVERSITY VACANCIES UNIVERSITY OF OTAGO DUNEDIN, NEW ZEALAND LECTURER (OR ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR) IN STATISTICS APPLICATIONS are invited for appointment within the range of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, or Associate Professor in Statistics in the Department of Mathematics. Applications will be considered from candidates with qualifications in any field of statistics or operational research. I The salary range is $3OOO x $200—54400, $4400 x $200—55400 per annum. Initial salarv will depend on the qualifications and experience of the person appointed. The status of Senior Lecturer may be awarded as a mark of personal distinction either on initial appointment or by subsequent promotion.
