Passenger Dies On Plane
A passenger on a National Airways Corporation’s aircraft yesterday died about 20 minutes out from Auckland. He was Daniel Edgar Browning, aged about 70, of 139 Lyttelton Street, Christchurch. A doctor and ambulance were waiting when the aircraft landed at Christchurch airport. Mr Browning had just returned to New Zealand from an overseas trip. An inquest into his death will be opened today.
