DEATH OF BABY
Christchurch detectives yesterday were inquiring into the death of an eight-month-old baby at Lyttelton on Tuesday. The baby was found dead in a bed at his home.
An inquest into the baby’s death was opened yesterday. A post-mortem examination showed that the baby had suffered head injuries. Inquiries had not been completed late last evening.
