35 Years As Tutor
Mr S. E. Dwight, a parttime tutor in wool classing at the Christchurch Technical Institute for the last 35 yean, has resigned because of ill health. At Monday’s meeting of the board of governors, the principal (Mr D. W. Lyall) said such a period for part-time service was most unusual, Mr Dwight had given great service to the institute, he said, A presentation will be arranged. A letter of appreciation will be sent by the board to Mr G. Tod, groundsman at the Ensors Bead ground for 20 years, who will retire.
