PROPERTY BOUGHT
•‘The Press” Special Service AUCKLAND. The former successful jockey, K. D. Campbell, has purchased a training property at Takatiini. The property of acres, is the one which has been owned by Mr R. Mcßean. It will continue to be occupied by I. Medcalfe, who rented it from Mr Mcßean. Mr Campbell said yesterday that he might eventually set up as a trainer, but not for some time. He said he and his wife promised themselves that they would not become involved in racing again to such an extent. until they paid off the farm they have a few miles north of Auckland. That might be three years or so.
