Concessions On T.A.B.
Concession T.A.B. doubles should be available in the new season. The Totalisator Agency Board intends asking the Minister of Internal Affairs' (Mr Seath) to allow the board to run a concession double on a voluntary basis in the same way as applied to the on-course concession double when it was first introduced. This was announced by the president (Mr A. J. Nicoll) at yesterday’s annual meeting of the New Zealand Trotting Conference. “Thus it will be. entirely over to clubs themselves whether or not they wish to operate a concession double,” he said.
