APPRENTICE AWARDS
Five successful Canterbury apprentice printers who attended a three-week course at the Printing and Graphic Arts department of the Auckland Technical Institute last year were presented with awards at the annual apprentices’ night of the Christchurch Club of Printing House Craftsman. They are:—
Messrs R. W. Wilson (bookbinding), R. V. Parmenter (off-set lithography), G. F. Dineen (letterpress machining), R. Stuart (hand typography), and V. L. Clarke (machine typography).
