The championship table is: G. Hill (Britain, LotusFord) 24 points, 1; J. Stewart (Britain, Matra-Ford) and J. Ickz (Belgium, Ferrari) 16, equal 2: D. Hulme (New Zealand, McLaren) 12, 4: P. Rodriguez (Mexico, 8.R.M.), 10, 5; B. McLaren (New Zealand, McLaren-Ford), 9, 6.
