FROM LONDON.—-“Miss New South Wales” (Miss Jan Hayes), who returned to Australia recently in this copy of a London Bobby’s helmet. On a four-month world trip, part of her “Miss Australia Quest" prize, she visited 11 countries. In Rome she was refused admittance to St Peter’s Basilica because she was wearing a mini-skirt. A secretary and receptionist, Miss Hayes plans to do public relations work for the Spastic Centre of New South Wales, Sydney.
