NEW FASHION HEAD

Mrs Lindsay Rosenhead, who recently joined the International Wool Secretariat as head of it* United Kingdom fashion office, brings with her a wide experience In the fashion world.

Her first major steps in this field were as designer for Julian Rose. She then moved on to Conde Nast Publications where she has worked for the last 12 years.

Mrs Rosenhead worked for the promotion of “Vogue” Patterns, for which she compiled fashion shows, promotional material and educational programmes. Later she took over as promotion manager in London. For five years after this she worked as the publicity editor of French “Vogue,” and as the Paris editor for the American head office of “Vogue” Pattern Service.

Mrs Rosenhead feel* that British fashion has made its mark in the world by its youth, gaiety, and originality and says the I.W.S. in London intends to continue to support young and creative designers. “I do not want to forget the marvellous opportunities afforded by Britain’s beautiful wool fabrics and I wish to encourage high quality British mills and designers in the pursuit of perfection.”
