Meeting Today
Christchurch brewery drivers yesterday postponed till 4 p.m. today a meeting on whether to support brewery drivers in Auckland. Brewery workers have post* poned their meeting till Wednesday morning until they know what the drivers decide. The secretary of the Canterbury Hotel Workers’ Union (Mr L. Short) said that he would obtain the general feeling of hotel workers at a meeting last evening. If the dispute widened to include Christchurch the hotel workers could be ready to participate if asked.
