$913 In Gifts For R.S.A.
Donations of $913 were received by the executive of the Christchurch Returned Services’ Association last evening. “I don’t know how you do it, Miss Rae,” the president (Mr J. Green) said when a gift of $640 from the women’s section of the association was ro "We ed try and keep on trying,” said Miss M. R. Rae, a member of the executive. Other donations were $6O from the Rangiora R.S.A. for the hospital comforts fund, $2OO from the South Christchurch sub-committee of the welfare fund; and $l3 from the Cheviot sub-branch which represented half the gatetakings at the Anzac Day Rugby football match and which the branch asked should go to the cottage homes appeal.
