Agreement Signed
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) DJAKARTA, July 8. The Netherlands today signed co-operation agreements with the farmer Dutch colony, Indonesia, and set the seal on a new friendship which has grown out of years of hostility. The agreements were signed by the Indonesian Foreign Minister (Mr Adam Malik) and his Dutch counterpart (Mr Joseph Luns) at the end of the Dutch Minister’s fiveday visit to Indonesia. An economic agreement was signed which laid down a new basis of Dutch capital investment in Indonesia and adjusted matters connected with the investment guarantee.
The other agreement signed was on cultural co-operation, and provided for the exchange of students and scientists.
