Fewer Road Injuries

(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, July 7. Fewer people were injured on New Zealand roads last year, preliminary computer reports indicated, the Assistant Commissioner of Transport (Mr B. C. Campbell) said in Wanganui today. Addressing the thirteenth regional conference of the Southern North Island Road Safety Committees, Mr Campbell said it would be the first time for 25 years that there had been a decrease In injuries.
