VACANCIES—MALES NEW ZEALAND SOCIETY OF ACCOUNTANTS EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS As the result of continuing expansion in the activities of the profession, the Society’s Council proposes to make two new appointments. DEPUTY SECRETARY: This position will involve responsibility for the overall super vision of the Society’s educa tional and technical activities, including publications, research and technical committees. The successful applicant must be capable of exercising considerable initiative, and of ' establishing and maintaining 1 close contact with members of the profession throughout New Zealand and with the Account: ancy Departments of the Uni versities. Ability to communi cate effectively in writing is an essential requirement, and competence in public speaking would be an advantage. With the continuing growth in the scale of operations of the profession, the position offers ample scope for future develop ment, and only members of the society with an inteerst tn ex- , tending their own horizons and those of the Society will be considered. The salary will be not less than $5OOO per annum, w|th superannuation privileges.
