Irish Again Beaten

The off-spinner, J. Gleeson, bowled Australia to another easy victory over Ireland in a one-day match yesterday. Gleeson captured six wickets for 24 from 9.1 overs, and Ireland was dismissed for 92. Earlier, E. Freeman scored a whirlwind 70 in the Australian total of 213. He and I. R. Redpath, who made 57, came to Australia’s rescue after the side had lost four for 83 on a damp and drying pitch. The previous day, at Dublin, Australia had beaten Ireland by six wickets in a oneday match.
