N. Cowley To Lead Auckland
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The College Rifles halfback, N. R. Cowley, has been named captain of the Auckland representative Rugby team for the 1968 season. Cowley, who thus becomes first-string half-back ahead of J. B. Hart, is the first fulltime captain Auckland has had in the backs for at least 15 years. The 25-year-old player has had only occasional experience as captain.
