Sprouts For Sydney
A trial shipment of brussels sprouts has been sent by air to Sydney by a North Otago grower. The chairman of the primary porduction council of the North Otago Progress League (Mr W. Godsail) said this week that to be successful on the Australian market growers must develop varieties which would land there in April or May. The difficulty was to get brussels sprouts to mature early enough.
