Auckland To Hold Rights
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Proprietary rights on the Wills international tennis tournament are to be retained by the Auckland association. Its management committee has decided to refuse a suggestion by the N.Z.L.T.A. for the tourney to be known as the “New Zealand Open,” and to incorporate the national championships. Auckland will suggest to the N.Z.L.T.A. that it seek an open classification for the national championships.
