14 Named As Coxswain
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN. Fourteen nominations foi the position of coxswain in the New Zealand crew for the Mexico Olympic Games have been received. They are: W. Crampton, R. Page (Auckland), J. Knox (Canterbury), M. Simms (Union, Christchurch), S. Stringer (Avon), M. Bulman (Blenheim), J. Smaill (Oamaru), S. Dickie (Wanganui Collegiate), B. Jones, R. Jones (Hutt Valley), N. Lynch, M. Hodgson (Wellington).
Page was cox of the Auckland four which won the Prince Philip Trophy at Henley three years ago, and B. Jones steered New Zealand to victory in the fours race against the touring Australian crew at the start of the season, and was coxswain of the national team in Australia two years ago.
