Although directed primarily at the Australian scene, this magazine is developing an expansive policy, and the present issue contain* much of interest to New Zealanders. The outstanding article in this number is Judith Wright’s “Conservation as a Concept," in which she relates her ideals a* president of the Wildlife Pres*£ vation Society of Queensland to the concerns of literature, the field in which she is best known.
