Federation Of Labour
Sir,—lt is imperative to avoid allowing emotional trends to swamp reasoning and thereby cultivate illusions. Mr Muldoon’s assertion that the economy has unproved over the last few months will prove true or otherwise in the near future. Facing facts is always desirable when confronted with problems of such wide significance as exist at present. As your correspondent suggests, criticism is useless unless constructive.—Yours, etc., S T B. May 6,1966. *
