"Th* Preu" Special Service NELSON. Th* B»ngitikei-owned Synthetic gave a meritorloue performance to win the 10-furlong Tahuna Hack Handicap at Nelson yesterday under 0-0. He mastered the heavy conditions to beat Khyber, which challenged strongly on th* outer till th* last furlong. The success was the Afteenth on the circuit for the Awapunl trainer, E. Temperton, and the twelfth for the stable’s jockey, L. K. Tinsley.
