Roplha’s smart two-year-old*, Bajah Sahib and Fashion Plate worked attractively at Woodville yesterday when the course proper had dried appreciably after last Saturday’s meeting. They galloped separately, about 15ft from the rail*. Fashion Plate, with a lightweight, ran six furlongs smoothly In Imln 15 3-s*ec, slowing a little towards the end of the last three to 30eec. Rajah Sahib gave about three stone to Ima Martian in their run over six furlongs. He allowed Ima Martian to carry on in front to the line in Imin 15 2-ssec and the chestnut ran his last three in 37 2-ssec. This sharpened Rajah Sahib tor tomorrow, when he should carry on with his outstanding form. Hamua, looking in great order after his effortless win in the President’s Handicap, held off Mln Flicka narrowly in their run. Hamua went six furlongs in Imln 22sec—Min Flicka Joined to at the Ave and they came home together In 30sec.
