“Dehumanised” Americans
(N.Z. Prert Assn.— Copyright) ATLANTIC CITY (New Jersey), May 6. Mini-skirts and such dances as the Watusi and the Frug are "dehumanising modern Americans,” according to a leading American osteopathic physician. Dr J. Dudley Chapman told the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Association that modern dances, in which the partners had little body contact, were voodoo rites symbolising “the abysmal loneliness which was a factor tn the rising rate of sexual impotence and promiscuity.” Dr Chapman said many women who could not conceive were also victims of the emotional stresses caused by this loneliness.
