RACIALISM CONDEMNED
World Ban Sought (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) TEHERAN, May 6. The United Nations Conference on Human Rights has asked for a world-wide ban on Nazi and racialist organisations. A conference committee on racial discrimination approved the resolution condemning “Nazism, neoNazism, racialism and all similar ideologies based on terrorism and racial intolerance” as a possible threat to the peace and security of all peoples. The resolution, sponsored by Czechoslovakia, Poland and the Ukraine, is to be forwarded to the United Nations General Assembly after approval by a full conference session, which is considered a mere formality. The Communist-sponsored resolution is aimed primarily at West Germany’s National Democratic Party, which' a number of delegations branded as “neo-Nazi.” Despite earlier reservations, West Germany voted in favour of the resolution.
