SHIP GIVEN ‘GOOD TEST"
(N.Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 30. The Seaway Princess had a good test on her recent run to Lyttelton, a Northern Steam Ship Company official said today. The new, 1200-ton coastal freighter returned to Auckland yesterday after her first run since engine repairs were made during a lap-up of six weeks. The spokesman said the vessel ran into a howling gale near Wellington on the south trip. The conditions provided a very good test for the engines, he said.
