Mr C. T. A. Rattray has been elected a Fellow of Christ's College. He succeeds the late Mr D. M. Stewart as one of the representatives of the old boys’ association on the governing body of the school.
Mr G. A. Johnstone has been elected chairman of the Hillmorton High School board of governors, Mr G. R. Robinson deputy chairman, and Mr C. E. Fenwick its representative on the Secondary Schools’ Council.
Mr I. W. Jenkin, a senior lecturer at the Palmerston North Teachers College, will represent the National Council of Churches of New Zea- ■ land at a seminar on marriage and the family to be held lin Bangkok in July by the (East Asia Christian Conference.
