Bywon Wins

The New Zealand gelding Bywon, scored a narrow win in the Cumberland Handicap, worth $6OOO. at Randwick. Sydney. on Saturday. Ridden by W. A. Smith, Bywon beat the New Zealand-bred Auto Filou by half a neck. This was Bywon’s third start In Australia. He ran tenth to Unpainted in the Doncaster Handicap and then ran third behind Unpainted and Cabachon in the All Aged Stakes last Monday.
