OPENING
The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Kirk) will open the new seaway terminal in Chapman's Road, Heathcote, at 4 p.m. today in his capacity as Member of Parliament for the Lyttelton electorate. Among those present will be Mr L. T. Hazleton, the chairman of directors, and his mother, Mrs M. Hazleton, who is a daughter of Mr John Brightling, who founded the firm in 1867.
