Smoke Stops 500 c.c. Race
(tf.Z.P.A.-Reuter —CopyriahO NURBURGRING, (West Germany). Smoke billowing across the circuit from forest fires brought an end to the 500 c.c. race in the West German world championship motorcycling meeting at Nurburgring, on Sunday.
Officials decided visibility was too bad and flagged down the riders after only 19 of 23 laps.
The Italian ace, G. Agostini, who was leading on an MV Agusta, was declared the winner.
