Tennis Assn Objects To Remarks About Billeting

The Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association has objected to the Auckland association referring to its billeting arrangements for the national championships as a hotch-potch.

Auckland’s accusation was contained in the last minutes of the New Zealand association. which were placed before a meeting of the Canterbury management committee last evening. championships at Christchurch, in January.

Rothmans School Mr T. A. F. Withers reported that nominations for places had been called for the second Rothmans South Island coaching school in Christchurch in the August holidays. He said that Mrs T. Long, of Australia, who coached at the school last year, was provisionally available. All last year's men coaches, Messrs S. F Clarke (Christchurch), N. Hos kin (North Otago), A.
