Post Office provided the upset win In the first round of the Inter-club A grade billiards when it beat the Richmond team, 3-0. The Canterbury champion. E. Simons, leading Post Office, was In good form finishing with a 67 unfinished break against T. Yesberg, who was holding a slight lead till then. B. Kirknesa also played well to beat R.s.A.'s number one player, R. O’Callaghan, and his return to the game win add a lot of Interest to the competition Results:— Kaiapol (W. Adams 175. w. Burney 200.
