NAPIER OUT
The Canterbury Rugby league wing, M. R. Napier (Papanui), has withdrawn from the Southern Zone team to play Northern Zone at Huntly on Sunday.
Napier, who scored five tries in his seven matches for Canterbury last season, left the field during last week's tone trials with torn muscles in his right shoulder. He was unable to play for Papanui on Saturday and may not play for several weeks, depending on the injury responding to treatment. G. Scully (West Coast), who played for Southern Zone against Northern Zone and Queensland last season, will replace Napieh
