Samoan Stamp Set On Sale
A new set of Western Samoan stamps celebrating the twenty-flrst anniversary of the South Pacific Commission will be on sale from next Monday, the Chief Postmaster in Christchurch (Mr M. E. Wilson) said on Friday. There will be three denominations in the series, 7 sene, 20 sene and 25 sene, the New Zealand equivalents being 9c, 25c and 31c. The set will cost 65c. The stamps will not be valid for postage within New Zealand, but philatelists will be able to obtain mint speciments from chief post offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, or from the Philatelic Bureau, 66A Courtenay Place, Wellington.
