Killed In Press
(N.Z. Preu Association) '• HASTINGS, April 21. A workman was killed when his head was crushed in an automatic wool press at the Tomoana freezing works, Hastings, yesterday afternoon. He was John Michael Lambert, aged 37 married, with three children, of Havelock North. No-one saw the accident, but it is believed that Mr Lambert was inspecting the level of the wool inside the press when it operated automatically.
