(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) SALISBURY. A combined Australia-New Zealand team led Rhodesia. 1-0, at the end of the first day of a tennis tournament. J. Brown (Australia) beat Rhodesia's number one. A. Bey. 8-0, 0-3, 8-10, 0-3, in the opening match. The second, between F. Salomon (Rhodesia) and B. E. Fairlie (New Zealand) was 7-5, 1-0 when bad light stopped play. The tournament will be continued with a doubles match and reverse singles.
