Ploughing Again
This year’s New Zealand ploughing championships will be held at Blenheim on July 6. Qualifying events for the championships will begin in the South Island at the end of this month. Events of interest to readers of “The Press” will include: April 27: Papakaio Ploughing Match Association. May 14: Methven Young Farmers' Club. June 1: Marlborough Ploughing Association. June 3: Nelson Ploughing Match Association. June 8: Timaru Ploughing Match Association. June 18: Hinds Y.F.P.M.C. June 20: Lincoln Ploughing Match Association. June 22: North Canterbury Young Farmers’ Club. June 25: Courtenay-Papa-rua Ploughing Match Association. June 27: Rakaia Ploughing Match Association.
