A VALUABLE SIRE.—In the large 18-month class at the Royal Sydney Easter show Mr R. White, the president of the Angus Society of Australia, gained second, third, fourth and fifth placings with grandsons of' Earl Jago of Brackenfield. The sire of his complete team was Earl 4th of Baldblair, son of Earl Jago of Brackenfield, bred by Mr F. A. Elliott, of Alton Downs, Marlborough, and sold to Colonel White for $4500. Earl 4th (photographed above) was the Sydney Royal champion a few years ago and an offer of $10,000 for him was refused.
