Bunting Profit Up Slightly
Bunting and Company, Ltd, the Christchurch-based brushware and plastics manufacturer, increased its profit by $1650, or 1.2 per cent, to $143,000 in the year to February 29, directors say in a preliminary report. A final dividend of 6 per cent has been recommended, making a steady 10 per cent for the year. This will again require $91,976 and is covered 1.6 times by the profit. The final dividend is payable on June 19, ex June 10. The results are subject to audit.
