SAFES HAVE ALARMS
Safes in Post Offices in the Christchurch area were all fitted with burglar alarms, the Chief Postmaster (Mr M. E. Wilson) said yesterday. The Post Office also had taken other measures to ensure the security of its safes and the alarms fitted to the safes differed.
