(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyripht) AUCKLAND, April 17. The following message of sympathy has been received by the GovernorGeneral (Sir Arthur Porritt) from the President of the Federal Republic of Germany (Mr 11. Leubke): “I convey to your Excellency and' to the people of New Zealand my sincere sympathy at the tragic loss of life which was caused by the disastrous storm and in particular by the tragic foundering of the ferryboat Wahine.”
